A pro-Russian hacker with the nickname “Joker DNR” claims to have managed to capture the DELTA command and control program, which owns the Ukrainian armed forces. He told details to RIA Novosti agency.
According to the hacker, hacking a lot of time and results, because DELTA was developed by programmers from Ukraine and the United States under NATO, but “there are no absolutely secure systems.” The “Joker” claims to have taken possession of all the plans of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and handed them over “to the right place.”
He chose that the DELTA servers are located in the city of Dnipro, and the software uses an interactive map and two services with source code: “Element” and NextCloud, and all paths lead to the military subnet Damba.org.ua. To log in selected users basic authentication through Google.
On its Telegram channel, the “Joker DPR” stated that the Russian troops have a constant availability of APU programs online, so the Ukrainian troops are currently unable to implement many plans. He also showed on video how DELTA looks and works.
The “Joker” boasted of having “infected every computer that ever logged into DELTA” and other computers too. He claims that the malware is self-created. In a Telegram message, he wrote that he entered fictitious information into the system in order to use nature data. According to the use of the hacker, he simply rearranged the symbols on the map in the form of squares, rhombuses and other shapes. “Joker” sneered, asked if Ukrainian IT specialists and intelligence detectors using paper maps would fix this.
It is worth noting that we do not know what the DELTA interface looks like, because we are not sure that the screenshots published by the hacker are the same fear detection system.
